The umbrella is her protection from all the sad things in her world. I also like that the shot is black & white, it multiplies all the impressions. I like how artist created her vision using the chalk on some pavement. It makes whole more spontaneous, natural. This is very creative and filled with optimism photo. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
